Shelby Herbert is a lover of unique beauty and every kind of art. She is a voice coach and musical theatre teacher for a nationally recognized performing arts conservatory, Mountain City Center for the Arts. Six musicals under Shelby’s musical direction at MCCA have won national awards at the world’s largest celebration of theatre for young people, the Junior Theatre Festival. Three of those won the highest festival honor of Outstanding Performance. Shelby is fortunate to make her living doing all the things she loves to do together. In addition to teaching, she is a gigging musician, who loves to travel, adventure, and explore. In her spare time, she creates art with her wife for their Etsy store. A lover of any music with soul, she takes every chance she gets to see live music. Shelby calls Morgantown, WV home, where she lives with her wife and two crazy cool cats.
